Thought for today:
The first tool of DA is Meetings. At meetings we pool our hopes and dreams and common suffering and together become strong again. The collective love we feel lets us face challenges we couldn’t otherwise, if left to our own devices.
How lucky we are to have found DA! Where else could we openly talk about the forbidden topic of out-of-control debt and overspending? Whether we meet by telephone, in online groups, or face-to-face, DA meetings sustain us. We take the help we need, and give back the help we can.

“We attend meetings at which we share our experience, strength and hope with one another. Unless we give away to newcomers what we have received from DA, we cannot keep it ourselves.”
Am I making meetings today?
Meditation for today:
When we are together, DAs have a way of enlightening each other. Our burden shared, it becomes easier to deal with our money, our time and our love.
Affirmation for today:
With every meeting I get stronger, more confident that the days are progressing according to God’s plan.
Prayer for today:
Great Unifier, be with us in our meetings, make our days stronger, make our hearts lighter. We are grateful that we have found you in the midst of this life saving fellowship if DA.
