“Before DA, I used to be so terrified of tax time that I would not get all of my deductions.  I got more physically ill with each passing calculation when doing my forms.  It was exhausting.

“For example, my kids are in college and I would always forget to pull my form 1098T .  They are still my dependents, so I am entitled, but because the college doesn’t send them to you, and because I can’t even get into the account myself, my kids need to log in and get it for me, it never happened.

“Today I know not to leave my money on the table. A little attention to detail makes it possible for me to have a few more dollars in my pocket.”

Am I leaving money on the table that I should be claiming for my family?

Meditation for today:

During stressful times remember the calmness of a tree on a warm breezy summer day.  Raise your arms over your head, close your eyes, and gently let your fingers simulate the leaves in the breeze.  Breath in deeply, hold for a moment and then exhale with the same beat count.  Inhale and exhale deeply  for a while.

Accept that breezes come, but that you can bend like a tree’s branches, and the breeze will not break you.

Affirmation for today:

“When I trust and follow my intuition, life supports me in every way, including financially.”

Prayer for today:

“I pray for the presence of mind to not rush through highly impactful decisions.  I pray instead that I choose thoughtful deliberation and reason, for there truly is plenty of time, money, and love.  I just need to recognize that fact.”
