Thought for today:
When we are aware of bill due dates, we are in a much safer place as a business owner. We can pay our bills promptly, affirming good faith with our vendors, and reinforcing the concept that there is plenty of money for everyone.
When we invoice our clients promptly we are claiming our wage for services or products rendered.
If we neglect cash flow, it intensifies our feelings of isolation and panic, making us react in strange ways when finally confronted with money issues. We need to develop a habit of managing income and outflow.
BDA Tool #7“We pay our bills and invoice our clients promptly.”
A member shares:
“Before BDA, I would have my secretary dodge vendors looking for payment. I also lost a lot of money due to overlooking billing. In the end, I was near bankruptcy.”
Ask:
Am I prompt in paying my bills? Do I invoice promptly?
Meditation for today:
Each time we are prompt we reinforce our business and our self-esteem. Gradually, those around us will see this and appreciate it.
Affirmation for today:
“I will calendar all important dates and amounts for billing and expenses, which will improve my understanding of my cash flow.”
“I pray for the ability to calmly assess each day as it comes, and to carry out God’s will in each transaction.”
