Thought for today:
Sometimes life is unfair. Some people are born into wealth, others into poverty. Nepotism happens, and as a result, some people always have the advantage of knowing the inside scoop. Accidents of birth makes a cluster of entrepreneurs who are in the right place at the right time to create incredible inventions.
A person could feel left out…
BDA Tool 9:
We notice the competition, but don’t worry about it. We learn from our competitors and trust that it is an abundant universe with more than enough for everyone.
A member shares:
“I used to feel like a victim. ‘Life isn’t fair!’ was always coming out of my mouth. All around me were successful entrepreneurs, and my business was suffering.
“As a business owner, I have to look outside the company and inside as well, almost at the same time. When I was active in the disease of compulsive debting, I panicked and felt I had to take on more credit card debt to finance every scheme I thought would improve my business. That downward spiral of debt damaged my business to the point of chapter 11.
“I see now that I was greedy back then. A more spiritual approach would be to take in the competition but not let it drive me to debt, despair and panic.
“Being a leader of a small company, I need to spot trends and capitalize on our core competencies, but my driving force is the BDA Tools that help me keep solvent, and maintain cash flow. Growth is only possible if we are strong enough as a company to withstand economic tides. As long as I mind my business, I know there is plenty for all of us.”
Money matters
People are much more creative when they feel safe to explore. That’s why cash flow is so important. We need to have a contingency reserve to work smarter.
If we mind “First Things First,” not over-worrying or obsessing about our competition, it gives us space to use resources efficiently. Whether we own a business or not, we can innovate much better if we have this clarity.
We can trust that there is enough time, money and love for us to meet all our goals.
Ask:
Am I using the DA principle of clarity in my life?
Meditation for today:
Throughout the day, challenges to our serenity will come. We need to find a way to discover our inner peace during those times.
We can imagine the way is clear before us, that the dawn will bring success. We can honor our unique gifts, and know that there is plenty of time to travel where we need to be.
“I have what I need to live through whatever this day brings.”*
