When all else fails, we always have our Higher Power.  Spirituality brings out the best in us.

“When I first got a sponsor, I shared about problems I was having at work.  They asked me, ‘Where is your Higher Power in it?

‘The point is that I needed to invite my Higher Power into all situations, especially the tough ones.  When i started doing this, I felt more relaxed and intuitive.

‘Spirituality to me means to stay in contact with my Higher Power, which leads me to help others.  I work best with others when I have inspiration from my Higher Power, to influence my thinking about work, money, and relationships.  I am better with the people I work and live with.”

DA Step Eleven:

Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

Meditation for today:

Let go of expectations, but always hope for miracles of healing all around you.  Miracles come when we look for them.  Go into nature and commune with your Higher Power, and you will experience miracles of insight, healing and friendship.

Affirmation for today:

“I am gaining fresh perspective about my life.”
