One Simple Technique to Help Develop Breakthrough Action Plans And Achieve Our Visions

Thought for today:

Sometimes, in the darkest winter days (or even on a summer day) we have trouble getting motivated to do your bill paying, mail opening, and number tracking.  If we experience this kind of lethargy, we can consider the simple benefit of finding pleasant surroundings to ground us in our process of transformation.  This will help us toward our goal of developing breakthrough Action Plans to make our Visions a reality.

DA Tool 6: Action Plan.

“With the help of our Pressure Relief Group, we develop a list of specific actions for resolving our debts, improving our financial situation, and achieving our goals without incurring unsecured debt.”

A member shares:

“I work my Action Plan every day.  A big part of this is to do my numbers and meditations in pleasant surroundings.

“Sometimes I go to a local coffee shop, put my ear buds on, and listen to classical music while I do my meditations and readings for the morning.  I roll up my numbers, enhance my Action Plan, and get a really good start on the day.”

“While I am sitting at a lunch counter I can transfer the mornings receipts into Mint on my Smart Phone. Sitting in a comfortable chair at home, I put on some music, whatever it takes to bring about serenity.  It makes the task so much easier.”

How pleasant surroundings help us develop breakthrough Action Plans:

Our minds need a comfortable physical space to open up to receive the clarity our program offers.  Going to a pleasant place for two weeks straight will help make healthy breakthrough Action Plans a habit.

Peaceful surroundings will help us get greater awareness of the truths revealed in our numbers.  Reflecting on our those truths, we can start to accept where we are at for today, and what we need to do moving forward.  This newfound acceptance will help us enhance and develop our Action Plan.  Our actions will be much more focused and profitable in the end.

Some people prefer sitting in a coffee shop with Wi-Fi, doing their numbers on their laptop, listening to the chatter of the café in the background, having a cup of coffee.  For these people it’s conducive to getting work done.  Others need solitude and silence.  Some need classical music in the background. Other play rock or rap to get their “inner angst” going. One member has to have a sitcom playing in the background while another needs Mozart’s in ear phones, sunlight on their shoulder, etc.

Whatever you need, why not set your own personal stage for serene reflections to make breakthrough Action Plans.

Ask:

“Am I in a comfortable place when I’m working on my Action Plan?”

Meditation for Today:

If we are in tune with the universe, we can get centered even in the midst of chaotic distractions.  If we seek humility, we can slow down and find a good spot for the important internal work we need to do.  We will be able to find serenity, process our numbers, open mail, and discover at least one truth in our program of recovery.

May this become a life-long habit!

Affirmations for Today:

“Today I will pick the perfect place to honor my program and my numbers, the perfect place to meditate, and to work on my Action Plan.  When I find this “grand space for small moments” it will make my personal truths and my life situation more discernible and acceptable.  The truth will  light on my shoulder, as a butterfly, if I am still enough to not startle it away.”
